The GF2255 shear fixture meets the requirements of ASTM F2255 for testing the strength of tissue adhesives in lap shear. The fixture manufactured with stainless steel for use with saline baths. Tissue substrates of up to 2 in. length can be bonded to the fixture, giving a substrate length to overlap ratio up to a 5:1 and allowing for use with very strong adhesives.
