Paper Testing force requirements are relatively low force, with most applications demanding less than 1 kN (225 lbf) force capacity. Tensile tests of wet samples tend to require low force load cells (1 N, or 0.2 lbf, typical), with two point flexural tests on paper and board requiring up to 10 N (2.25 lbf) load cells. A 250 N (56.2 lbf) load cell can handle typical four point flexural bending tests of corrugated board, dry tensile tests and crush tests of paper. Functional tests of boxes, cores, palettes and corrugated paper tend to require higher forces.
