The GD5961-B fixture meets the requirements of ASTM D5961 for testing the bearing response of fiber-reinforced polymer-matrix composite laminates, using procedure B. Testing procedure B requires a specimen composed of two halves joined by one or two centerline fasteners. GD5961-B is a support fixture for use with the stabilized configuration described by ASTM D5961 and can be utilized for both tension and compression loading.
